Board of Director Nominations

Dear Mid-Michigan SCI Chapter Members,

Nominations are being solicited to fill expiring elected Board of Directors positions.

Elected Board Members whose terms expire on June 30th, 2023 are:

Appointed Board Members whose terms expire on June 30, 2023 are:

Larry Haney

The Nominating Committee is seeking names of interested members to be nominated for our upcoming election.  Please provide a short paragraph about yourself to be included with election ballots.  This may be helpful to introduce candidates to the membership and create awareness of their qualifications.  Board meetings are generally held the first Monday of the month.  Board members are expected to be in attendance at the majority of the meetings and to actively participate in board discussions, decisions and activities.

Qualifications:  Pursuant to our by-laws, to be eligible to be nominated for a Board of Directors position, a person must have been a member in good standing for at least one year prior to the date set for the election.  (June 12th, 2023)

If you are interested in putting your name in to serve on the board, or would like to nominate a colleague, please respond via email to bjurries44@gmail.com or mail to P.O. Box 486, Mt. Pleasant, MI  48804-0486 using the attached form.  If you are not interested in serving even if nominated by others, please indicate this on the attached form as well.  Please submit your response no later than May 10nd, 2023.

If you are receiving your meeting notices through the US postal service and have an email address, please send it to Brandon Jurries at the email address above.  Our hope is to communicate by email with as many members as possible because it is faster and also saves our Chapter postage costs.
