Blue Bag Program
Have you ever wanted to do something good for others on your hunting trip? Well, I might be able to suggest something that will allow you to do good for others and make you feel good at the same time! My husband Ken and I were planning a hunt in South Africa last year. We had heard about the Bell Family Blue Bag Program, but weren’t really sure how to go about delivering a Blue Bag on our trip.

6th Annual Veteran's Hunt
By Josh Christensen
“Here comes one! Get ready!” I could hear the excitement in Jeff’s voice as
I raised my shotgun and focused on the rooster pheasant flying towards us
in our blind. It was like Jeff and I were one as we both took proper aim and shot. Only one shot could be heard as we shot in unison. The results were instantly observed as the rooster folded and dropped not ten feet from where we stood.
Shot In The Dark
“Breathing, sight alignment, and trigger squeeze.” Those three areas are taught as the fundamentals of shooting in the US Army. Since medically leaving the Army two months before, I struggle still with finding purpose and happiness in my current situation. Three years ago, I was a Team Leader for one of the greatest Special Operations elements in the greatest country
in the world.

Michigan DNR announces regulation changes for 2021 deer hunting seasons
LANSING, MI – The Michigan Department of Natural Resources has announced changes to the state’s 2021 deer hunting regulations.
The changes, which are meant to further simplify deer regulations and remove barriers to hunting participation, go into effect with the start of the 2021 deer hunting seasons in September.
Annual Pheasant Hunt License
The bill would amend the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act (NREPA) to do the following:
-- Prohibit an individual 18 years of age or older from hunting pheasants without a current annual pheasant hunting license.
-- Establish a $25 fee for an annual pheasant hunting license.
-- Specify certain public and private in which an individual could hunt pheasant without an
annual pheasant hunting license.
